Carry-on necessities: A large black tote, a good book, and comfy shoes
Over the weekend, I began packing for my trip to Europe on Wednesday. I usually do my packing in stages; a little bit every day. Sunday was spent getting all of the items that will be going on the plane with me. My iPod, headphones, a good book, a comfortable outfit are my go to items for when I travel. With only today and tomorrow to pack a wardrobe for two weeks, I am already exhausted just thinking about it, but I believe packing a little bit every day relieves stress and I can feel better prepared that I didn’t forget anything!

One of my favorite films has always been Clueless. Growing up, I always loved the outfits that Cher wore in the movie and always wished that I could dress the same way. But then at certain points in my younger years, it hit me that I’m not going to be able to find those kinds of clothes in the stores (i.e. leather skirts, sheer blouses, backpack purses, plaid). To my delight, the fall and spring seasons seem to have gone back in the Clueless vault and restored almost every trend. This outfit is my recreation of one of the ensemble’s Cher wears in the film with my sheer blouse, leather skirt, backpack, and ankle-strap heels.
Ray-Ban Sunglasses, ASOS Blouse and Shorts, Zara Heels, Coach Bag, Michael Kors Watch
I don’t have too many shorts that are for a dressy occasion. Which is strange, since living in AZ, you would think I would, but I usually opt to wear a dress or skirt. However, a pair of printed pants, in a dark print, makes for the ideal piece when dressing for a night out. Keeping with the tone, I went with a dark blouse and black heels for a glamorous evening look.
