A classic monochrome look in one of my favorite colors, blue. I wanted to pair something different than I normally would with a floral skirt (my go-to is a simple plain tee) and went with chambray. It’s such a versatile piece that pretty much goes with anything and I particularly like how the look turned out.

I usually stray from wearing red and green in that they pretty much remind all of us of Christmas. But when I read this article a few weeks ago, I thought why not give it a go mixing a dark red with a minty shade of green. Pairing nude heels and a yellow bag adds some different colorful elements to take some attention off of the colors too. I really like how it came out; It certainly doesn’t remind me of twinkling lights and decorations!

I’ve had this skirt for some time now and it certainly is one of my favorites to wear in the summer. It’s interesting pattern that blends these beautiful colors together make it so fun! I normally wear it with a solid color top, but I wanted to mix things by pairing it with a striped top. This would have never happened a year ago, in that I would be to intimidated to mix and match, but I love the way this look came out. By the way, this is the first time I have worn my hair in a braid with a ribbon in ages; I think it came out pretty good.
